Santiment: Ethereum Retail Traders Continue to Sell Off During ETH Price Surge
BlockBeats News, August 13th, the cryptocurrency market analysis firm Santiment stated that "Ethereum is currently only 6.4% away from its historical high of $4,891 on November 16, 2021. During Ethereum's rise, retail traders have been consistently selling off."
In history, price trends have usually been contrary to the expectations of retail traders. On June 16, 2025, and July 30, extreme greed sentiment occurred, leading to price corrections. However, as the asset price continues to hit new highs, traders have shown panic (FUD) and doubt.
